There is already a translation in Occitan (45% done).
I'm unsure from internet how distinct Occitan and Gascon are different
and if difference there is, if there is difference in technical terms ?

Then we got the technical difficulties that afaik Gascon is not in ISO
639-2 or ISO 639-3. Do you have example of other softwares translated in
Gascon (ideally one using gettext) we could look at ?
