[vlc] Comunicating Vlc with my program?

Hello vlc team, I'm developing  a program to do a live pitch track (baseball
game), and I think in VLC at first option  due it performance. I need get
images in my program though the vlc player , and the vlc player get the
video transmission from a video card. I want to know how I can do this , and
if is possible to get images without compression in .bmp format.  Please
help me.
