[vlc] No Audio output

Hi,
    Recently iam not getting any audio output from VLC. Mine is a Windows 7
system and 2 days back it was working fine. Steps that i have done to fix
this issue are

1. Reset the Preferences
2. Delete the configuration file from
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roming\VLC\vlcrc
3. Restarted the machine
4. Installed latest VLC media player

Nothing works now. With Real player able to get audio output. Even windows
volume control can output audio. Please help me solve this issue.
