[vlc] Fake VLC Player Spreads Malware!

Hello All,

Just wanted to send out a warning that some of the
"Trojan.FakeCodec" malware is starting to use VLC look alikes.
For example: hXXp://www.downloaddirect.com/download/VLCSetup.exe
is one site hosting the fake player

Please be sure that any website that asks you to update or
install a plug-in or application comes from a trusted source.
It is always safest to download software from it's original
publisher, and not a third-party.

If you think you have found another fake player, please let me
know let me know by sending it as an attachment to
trappmanrhett at fastmail.fm
Or send the sample directly for malware analysis at
trappmanrhett at submit.microsoft.com
