[RFC] VLS new release

Hello,

In the new vls release should the input stream
still be a ts or can a ps stream be streamed
by the vls? Is rtp used only for sequencing?
Do rtp timestamp include timing just for the 
delivery of the packets or for the sync of the
elementary streams as well? I would like to
read some doc that talks about the design issues
of why rtp is used.
