Hi,
I tried using x264 r999 compiled in GCC in my VS2005 project but it crashes
in the call the x264_encoder_open.
I can't provide a dump because I am using MSVC to compile my application,
and it doesnt understand the gcc debug info.

I compiled x264 using the following configure line
  ./configure --enable-shared

in a mingw 4.2.4 system I downloaded from
http://oss.netfarm.it/mplayer-win32.php

The application I am building is a DirectShow filter so it must be compiled
with MSVC
I even tried aligning the stack to 16 byte using the assembly from
http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=482444
<http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=482444>
but it did not help

appreciate your help and can't wait to upgrade from r680 to r999
