[x264-devel] Status of 4:2:2, 4:4:4 colorspace support

Hi x264 developers,

I see there is a x264-csp branch for x264 to support 4:2:2 and 4:4:4.

I also see there is summer of code there is a task for 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 with a partially done qualifications for task at https://github.com/Andreas-HH/x264-colorspaces

What is the status and are there ways people can contribute to the effort?
