[x265] [ANN] x265 repository migrated to GitHub

We are pleased to announce that the x265 repository has been migrated from Bitbucket to GitHub.
The project is now available at:
https://github.com/Multicorewareinc/x265
This migration has been carried out to leverage GitHub’s broader ecosystem, improved collaboration capabilities, and better integration with modern development workflows and CI/CD tools.
Going forward, all development activities and issue tracking will be managed on GitHub. Contributors are requested to update their local repository remotes and workflows accordingly.
To ensure a smooth transition, the current Bitbucket repository will remain synchronized with the GitHub repository until June 30, 2026:
https://bitbucket.org/multicoreware/x265_git
We are also working on enabling a pull request–based submission workflow to GitHub repo, expected to be available within the next two weeks. A separate announcement will be made once it is ready. Until then, the existing mailing list–based patch submission process will remain in effect.
